Love is extremely complicated because there are many types in the world. I am going to share what love really is for me. First of all, the love you read about in romance novels doesn’t really exist. Why? Because this world is not easy and just because you love someone doesn’t mean you both live happily-ever after. Another thing about love is that the other person always has free will, so counting on being with them may not happen just because love is there. I know there are many people in the world who are far too young to understand what love is, but for me, it’s always been about taking the bad with the good and not just seeing the good only. That just puts the other person on a pedestal, and it leaves you disappointed because you put your expectations too high especially when your loved one acts TOO human. Soulmates relationships are bad about this. Love for me is also about wanting what is best for the other person. So many people are out there hurting themselves because they don’t feel worthy of love or they work too hard at finding it, or they try to find it too soon before their lives are ready for something like that, yet they don’t quit. All of this then leaves them feeling hurt or distraught because they don’t understand what they are doing wrong. I read that real love begins within and I believe that. Too many people put so much on another person; their happiness, their joy and their feelings about life. What happens when that person leaves? Then you feel that they took everything with them. They didn't. I believe that the loves in our lives just remind us what is already there. Happiness and love starts with your own heart and mind, not with another person. I strongly feel that when the right person comes along, it will be after I have made my life (and myself) they way it should be but until then I am going to explore all that makes me woman, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally and in doing so I am going to enjoy being a 28 year old! The biggest lesson here is to learn to truly love yourself in a good way before you put that love to the test with another person. I personally believe that if you truly love someone, you are never without them even if they marry someone else. Real love never leaves, you just fear it does because it is human nature to crave affection from your love.

Hey it's me Elisha, I decided to sign up for a freebie in case I can't renew. My interests are obviously art, music, writings and I love my spirituality.
